Reversible half apron

So I was at the Corn Wagon in Springville with my mom and niece a while back and bought some cute fabric that I wanted to make an apron out of. Well my niece saw the fabric and asked what I was getting it for so I told her I was making an apron. She said she wanted one to match mine so I bought her some fabric too. I figured her b-day was coming up and I would make it and give it to her then.

Here is one like it that I made to sell and see if I could make a little extra money. Do you think these would sell? They are for children.

As you can see they are reversible. Cute little flowers on one side and citrus slices on the other.

As a consultant for Close to my Heart I participated in a LO Challenge with other consultants. I love doing them and it helps me to complete my scrapbook. Anyways, this is the LO I came up with according to the challenge guidelines.

Another Quilt top

I have finished another quilt top aside from the border... so maybe that means I haven't finished it. Oh well I have been looking for a pic of it on my comp, but can't find the one I took, so I'll have to take another one and post it. (Another christmas present) :o)

One Quilt Top Finished

This is my first quilt top that I have ever finished! Yeah for me! I am quite proud of it. Now comes the fun... or not so fun part of finishing the quilt. I'm not entirely sure since I've never finished a quilt before. I'm sure it will be great. I have yet to find a backing fabric, baste all the layers, quilt it and bind it. I am trying to figure out if I am gonna have a go at quilting it myself or having someone else do it for me. I am leaning toward someone else, seeing as this is my first quilt, it is going to be a Christmas present and I don't want to ruin it and really, I just don't trust myself to quilt it. Time will tell what I decide to do.

Yes I am starting another blog. I figured this one will be all encompassing of my crafts. The wants, the wips and the finally completes! Yeah for mommy alone time! Or nap time whatever the case may be for me getting my "fun stuff" done.
